Conditions for use of the Sauna

General terms

1. Dress code:

Guests undertake to comply with a minimum dress code consisting of a swimsuit/bikini or swimming shorts.

2. Age limit:

The age limit for using the sauna alone is 16 years.

 

3. Swimming ability for Children:

Children should be able to swim to participate in the sauna experience.

4. Own responsibility:

The guest/guests understand and accept that use of the sauna and swimming in the sea is at their own risk. It is strongly recommended to assess one's own health and physical condition before use.

5. First aid equipment:

The guest(s) accepts to confirm the availability and location of first aid equipment before using the sauna and undertakes to report any deficiencies.

6. Fire safety:

The guest(s) undertakes to follow all fire safety procedures and instructions from the staff. Smoking or the use of open flames inside the sauna is strictly prohibited.

7. Responsibility for Personal Property:

The landlord/business does not assume responsibility for the loss or theft of the guest's/guest's personal belongings during the stay, including clothing and valuables.

8. Maintenance of Hygiene:

The guest(s) undertakes to maintain personal hygiene when using the sauna, including the use of towels and seating mats.

9. Cancellation:

Cancellation or change of appointment must be made more than 24 hours before, for a full refund, minus NOK 75 in administration fee.

10. Changes to the Services:

The landlord/business reserves the right to make changes to availability and services without prior notice. This includes, but is not limited to, repairs, maintenance or other unforeseen events.

11. Photos and Recordings:

The guest/guests agree that the landlord/business can take pictures or record them during their stay, and these can be used for marketing purposes unless the guest/guests expressly refuse this.

12. Compliance with Local Laws and Regulations:

The guest(s) undertakes to comply with all applicable local laws and regulations during their stay, including safety regulations for use of the facilities.

13. Safety rules and instructions:

The guest(s) acknowledges the need to respect safety rules and follow the instructions given by the staff to minimize risk. This includes, but is not limited to, complying with duration and temperatures in the sauna, avoiding bathing alone, and only bathing in suitable weather conditions.

14. Responsibility for Well-being and Safety:

The guest(s) acknowledges that they are responsible for their own well-being and safety. Any loss, damage or accident that occurs as a result of negligence or breach of rules and safety instructions will be the guest's own responsibility.

15. Disclaimer of Liability:

The landlord/business disclaims any responsibility for direct or indirect damages, losses or costs that the guest(s) or third parties may suffer as a result of using the sauna or swimming in the sea.

By continuing to use the Arctic Sauna facilities, the guest(s) confirm that they have read, understood and accepted this disclaimer in its entirety. Any questions or concerns should be directed to staff before using the facilities.

16. General
Arctic Sauna AS (932474565) looks after your privacy. In the privacy policy (see footer) we inform you about how we handle your personal data in connection with you visiting our websites or registering an account via any of our websites. We may make changes to our privacy policy to reflect changes in our business, on our websites or Services, or applicable law. The latest version of the privacy policy is always available here on the website.

17. Processing and Rights
You have the opportunity at any time to withdraw or request insight into your personal data. Only people with necessary work tasks will have the opportunity to access details in order to handle agreements and inquiries.

18. Who is responsible for the personal data we collect?
Arctic Sauna AS is responsible for ensuring that your personal data is processed in accordance with laws and regulations. We implement technical, legal and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from being manipulated, lost or destroyed or from unauthorized access.

We collect personal data through Vipps and through user input. This information is not shared with others and is only used for its necessary purpose for the administration, support and implementation of agreements between the user site and the customer. 20. Terms of purchase
The seller is Arctic Sauna AS, post@arcticsauna.net, 932474565, and is hereinafter referred to as the seller/seller. The buyer is the consumer who makes the order, and is referred to in the following as the buyer/buyer.

21. Subscription and membership
Your membership gives you access to Arctic Sauna AS's facilities and services. You will have access from the moment of purchase. The subscription has no fixed period and can be canceled at any time either by contacting Arctic Sauna AS at post@arcticsauna.net or by canceling the subscription in Vipps under manage subscription. After charging, you will have access to the full month regardless of when in the month you cancel. You have 14 days right of withdrawal and contact us at post@arcticsauna.net for a refund if you are not satisfied. If you are unable to cancel the subscription yourself, you can contact us at post@arcticsauna.net for an immediate cancellation. 

22. Booking
When booking, you get access to the location or the activity at the moment of booking, in case of cancellation close to the moment of booking, the booking will not be automatically refunded. Payment is made when the booking is made, and is considered delivered when the visit starts. You can request a refund or adjustment if you have made a wrong booking as long as it happens in time before the visit was supposed to start.

Complaints are addressed to the seller within a reasonable time. The parties shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. If this is not successful, the buyer can contact the Consumer Council for mediation. The Consumer Council is available on phone 23 400 500 or www.forbrukerradet.no.
